  • Water Companies conduct extensive monitoring to ensure that our water meets all water quality standards. The results of our monitoring are reported in table format.

  • Juvenile crime data is collected from the Annual Missouri Juvenile Court Statistic Reports prepared by the Division of Youth Services. These reports detail statistical information about Missouri's Juvenile Court System. The data tables include county-level, circuit-level and statewide information. The reports cover program activities during a calendar year (January through December).
• Child Abuse and Neglect
  • Child Abuse and Neglect data is collected from the Annual Missouri Child Abuse & Neglect Reports prepared by the Children's Division of the Missouri Department of Social Services. These reports detail statistical information about Child Abuse and Neglect in Missouri. The data tables include county-level, circuit-level and statewide information. The reports cover program activities during a calendar year (January through December).

• ACT Data
  • ACT Results. The percentage of graduates taking the ACT, along with the average composite ACT score. These statistics are provided to DESE by ACT.
• Free and Reduced Lunch Rate
  • Definitions: Percentage of students who are enrolled in the free or reduced-price National School Lunch Program. Children from households with incomes less than 130% of poverty are eligible for free lunches; those from households below 185% of poverty are eligible for reduced-price lunches. Rate is expressed as percent of total school enrollment.
• MAP Test Data
  • Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) Results. Summary and detailed results from MAP exams are provided for each school and district. Disaggregated results for various subgroups of students also are provided, as required by federal law.
• Drop Out Rate
  • High school dropout rate is the number of dropouts divided by (September enrollment plus transfers in minus transfers out minus dropouts added to total September enrollment then divided by two(2)).
• Graduation Rate
  • The quotient of the number of graduates in the current year, as of June 30, divided by: the sum of the number of graduates in the current year as of June 30, plus the number of twelfth-graders who dropped out in the current year, plus the number of eleventh-graders who dropped out in the preceding year, plus the number of tenth-graders who dropped out in the second preceding year, plus the number of ninth-graders who dropped out in the third preceding year. • Graduation Post Secondary Analysis
  • Where Our Graduates Go. The percentage of the previous year’s graduates who are reported as attending a community college, a four-year institution, or a technical school 180 days after graduation.

Buchanan County BRFSS (Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Assessment) data has been conducted locally since 1997. The most current study was completed in the summer of 2009 (the first was in 1997, followed by studies conducted biannually in 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, and 207). Data reported on here is a subset of results from the master dataset.
